Adult Religious Education
Our Fellowship offers adult enrichment
classes from September through May. Some of these courses are
led by our minister, Ed Piper, while others reflect the diverse
interests of our lay members. Most adult RE classes meet on weekday
evenings, but there are also occasional workshops held on weekends.
One of the regular offerings is the Newcomer Seminar for people
who are encountering Unitarian Universalism for the first time.
Recent adult RE topics include:
| Mindful listening |
Biomedical ethics |
| Stained glass-making
|
World religions |
| Lifespan spiritual
development |
Understanding the
Bible |
| UU parenting |
Developing a personal
theology |
| Planning for end-of-life
issues |
Native American spirituality |
| |
|
These classes are open to all Fellowship
members and to adults from the community on a space-available
basis. Topics and meeting times are announced in our monthly newsletter.
