The Fellowship's Caring
Network demonstrates our shared commitment to helping one another
at times of special need. It strengthens rather than replaces
the minister's responsibility for pastoral care. Each network
volunteer is assigned a group of congregation members and serves
as the contact person whenever someone in that group needs the
congregation's support. Volunteers coordinate assistance for
members who have been hospitalized, or are dealing with a family
illness, death or other crisis. They also keep the minister
informed of special needs as they arise, and they take responsbility
for getting information to members in their cluster on short
notice. Caring Network volunteers for 2007-08 and their assigned
